Walking as one for the Church Health Center

Join the Church Health Center for a 1.5 mile walk in support of a happier, healthier city. Help change the community’s mindset about health by learning about proactive and preventive care.

The Church Health Center is a faith-based organization that provides healthcare to the working uninsured, as well as whole-health and preventive programming to the Memphis area.

Funds raised through Walking as One will fund their Faith Community Nursing ministry. Faith Community Nurses are licensed, registered nurses who practice using nursing knowledge combined with spiritual care. The Church Health Center functions as the headquarters for more than 15,000 nurses worldwide.

There are several ways to get involved; starting or joining a "team", registering as an individual, volunteer to help on the day of the event, or receive materials for "Take the Challenge", an educational curriculum designed for Sunday School classes.
