When Memphis Bicycle and Pedestrian Coordinator Kyle Wagenschutz announced the idea of turning downtown's Riverside Drive into permanent bike lanes at the National Bike Summit in Washington D.C., people took note. Creative thinking in Memphis is pushing the trend to restrict road space for human-powered traffic.
