With just a quick drive down Summer Avenue, a hungry traveler can eat their way through dozens of countries’ signature dishes, no plane ticket needed. The Summer Avenue Merchants Association recently announced a branding initiative to designate the area between Highland Street and Interstate-240 as Memphis’ first international district. Together, these business owners represent more than 30 countries of origin.
